    • Solid Brass Adjustable Front Lock (comes with a key that disables the lock if needed)
    • Fully functional straps that wrap around the case help adjust the body width between 4" - 6" as needed.
    • Handcrafted with vegetable tanned full grain leather that will develop a patina as it ages and develop its own personality over time.
    • Lined with full grain glove leather on the inside
    • Full-length open back pocket outside.
    • The handle is attached to a steel bar underneath the flap for added strength.
    • Solid-Brass Buckles & Hardware.
    • Adjustable & detachable, double layered, 54" shoulder strap with a no-slip shoulder pad.
    • Solid-brass push-lock closures underneath the buckles for easy access (eliminating the need to go through the buckles to open and close the case while maintaining the functionality of the straps)

5 of 5 Second briefcase from Custom Hide November 30, 2021

This is the second briefcase I've purchased from Custom Hide (the first was a 2-compartment organizer in black).  As is the case with the first, the workmanship is extremely good.  Though I just received it a week ago, and haven't used it very much, I can tell I'm going to love it as much as my earlier briefcase.  I feel confident I'll continue being very happy with this.

I spent a lot of time looking at different leather briefcase makers before I decided on Custom Hide. Using vegetable tanning on full grain leather were my first requirements. But the ability to customize the case to my preferences was what really excited me with Custom Hide. I was surprised that doing this wasn't a big increase in cost, even though I changed the standard size of the pockets, changed where the shoulder strap connects and added rivets on some support pieces. Now that I received the case I'm so happy with the results! The whiskey color is amazing, the quality of work is obvious and I love how well they executed the changes I requested. I'm really looking forward to years of use of this beautiful piece of art! Thanks, Custom Hide!
